Marivo 0.5.0
Marivo 0.5.0 introduces a progressive, registry-owned contract surface for
agent-facing authoring and analysis. It makes the next valid action discoverable
through bounded Help, moves Frame quality enforcement to artifact commit, and
removes the independent assess_quality analysis operator.
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”marivo.help()now routes from global roots into progressive semantic authoring and analysis journeys. Registry-owned pages expose exact object, builder, check, method, input, Artifact, Runtime, and recovery contracts without expanding an unbounded public inventory.- Semantic authoring Help registers the object graph and its decisions, relationships, exact refs, source checks, and builder routes. It validates the registry eagerly and keeps each contract with its owning surface.
- Analysis Help exposes six bounded discovery hubs and the exact terminal boundary. Dynamic Artifact and result guidance is derived from runtime capability contracts, so focused routes retain actionable inputs, continuations, and structured repairs.
- Frame quality checks now run before an Artifact is published. Integrity-bound, parent-owned quality reports persist structured blocking failures, and Lifecycle revalidation covers dependent artifacts after relevant changes.
- Trino datasource authoring and runtime now require an explicit
user_env, preventing connection identity from falling through to an Ibis default.
Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Analysis and semantic capability registries are the source of truth for
dynamic Help, typed cross-links, render budgets, and validation. Packaged
marivo-analysisandmarivo-semanticskills and the bilingual documentation now follow the same progressive topology. - Artifact continuations, shape admission, grouping, and typed recovery are disclosed from the live registry, while specialized runtime errors remain available at their exact identities.
- Quality evidence is attached to the owning Frame/Artifact lifecycle instead
of creating a separate quality-intent lineage. Callers should use
BaseFrame.quality_report()and the artifact commit contract for quality state.
- Structured repairs now route to the owning semantic or analysis Help page, including missing fields, invalid object declarations, and dynamic result continuations.
- Help no longer relies on legacy inventories, duplicate navigation topics, or short-name disambiguation for the progressive authoring and analysis paths.
- Registry drift, route-budget overflow, incomplete cross-links, and unreachable terminal contracts are rejected by import-time and adversarial regression checks.
Documentation
Section titled “Documentation”- Updated the English and Chinese semantic-layer, analysis-workflow, evidence, API, agent-guide, and packaged-skill guidance for the new ownership model.
- Added design and implementation documentation for progressive semantic authoring and analysis live Help, quality recovery, and revalidation.
