Marivo 0.5.6

Marivo 0.5.6 adds expression-backed semantic Entities and tightens public inspection and Help contracts.

  • ms.entity(...) now supports both direct declarations and a decorator form. The decorator body returns one deterministic Ibis Table expression over its injected source, and the returned output schema and primary key govern downstream semantic execution.
  • Expression Entities use one shared output boundary for observation, grouping, metric filters, relationships, event journeys, and lifecycle calculations. Their body and output dependencies are included in semantic fingerprints.
  • Entity validation and source-health evidence distinguish physical connectivity and schema failures from invalid expressions, missing output fields, and missing output primary keys.
  • Semantic and analysis Help now expose executable examples, concrete result and pagination fields, parameter semantics, and structured repair guidance within their existing disclosure budgets.
  • Entity bodies are validated as closed, deterministic Ibis expressions. SQL or execution escape hatches, external captured values, clock and random values, assignments, comprehensions, and other unsupported shapes are rejected with structured repairs.
  • Semantic definition displays preserve authored literal values and normalized expression structure. Definition payloads now use the marivo.semantic_definition/v2 schema.
  • Frame inspection renders bounded previews and evidence summaries without rounding values, while retaining stable contract, finding, and data exits.
  • English and Chinese semantic-layer, analysis-workflow, Help, and packaged agent guidance now match the executable contracts.
  • Direct Entity declarations keep their existing source-schema behavior. The expression form is opt-in and treats the returned Table schema as the authoritative Entity output.
  • Consumers that persist or inspect semantic definition JSON should handle the marivo.semantic_definition/v2 schema and its authored literal values.
