Marivo 0.4.11
Marivo 0.4.11 makes semantic authoring and datasource evidence more explicit for agents, while tightening typed analysis transforms and repair guidance.
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- Agent-native semantic authoring now follows a smaller public contract centered
on current catalogs, one coherent semantic slice,
ms.load(), exactcatalog.require(...), and scoped readiness. Preview and source-health checks remain explicit evidence branches rather than hidden authoring stages. catalog.source_health(...)provides an explicit report for current source or data drift. It can check connectivity and authoritative schema/capabilities, or run bounded declared data checks without changing readiness or analysis inputs.- Datasource inspection and discovery now expose bounded contracts, named retained rows, metric preview sampling, and clearer partition/snapshot recovery. Agents can distinguish a truncated partition from semantic modeling that is still pending.
- Typed analysis now exposes clearer compatibility and projection repairs for time grains, metric bindings, and transforms. Delta arithmetic also stays safe for unsigned inputs instead of wrapping on negative results.
Changed
Section titled “Changed”- Datasource credentials use explicit
*_envreferences; implicit environment fallback is no longer part of datasource authoring or doctor checks. - Bounded
show()andcontract()guidance is more consistent across datasource, semantic, and analysis results. Custom analysis is an explicit terminal exit, with the typed chain and its evidence boundary kept clear. - The packaged
marivo-semanticandmarivo-analysisskills now focus on the current modeling, evidence, repair, and handoff boundaries instead of duplicating a legacy operator ladder.
- Unsigned delta calculations no longer overflow when the change is negative.
- Analysis transforms preserve the frame family and reject incompatible metric or time-axis operations with actionable repairs.
- Datasource and snapshot recovery paths now preserve the exact bounded scope and report whether data was truncated, retained, or still requires semantic modeling.
Documentation
Section titled “Documentation”- The semantic and analysis guides document explicit source health, snapshot and partition recovery, metric preview sampling, time-grain compatibility, structured transform repairs, and terminal custom-analysis boundaries.
Installation
Section titled “Installation”curl -fsSL https://marivo.io/install.sh | bashIn mainland China, use:
curl -fsSL https://marivo.io/install-marivo-cn.sh | bashFor manual installation:
pip install marivoInstall the backend extra for each datasource you plan to use. Marivo 0.4.11 requires Python 3.10 or newer.
