Marivo 0.3.0

Marivo 0.3.0 is a minor release focused on the public agent-facing authoring and analysis surface. It introduces cumulative metric modeling, clearer workflow-first analysis affordances, public semantic guidance through help and result contracts, and a shared engine-profile layer for datasource behavior.

  • Cumulative metrics are now first-class semantic objects. Authors can declare cumulative windows, materialize them through the semantic layer, and observe cumulative frames through the analysis workflow.
  • Analysis guidance now routes agents through workflow-first discovery. Help, result display, and session runtime output expose narrower next steps instead of asking agents to infer workflow state from broad APIs.
  • Semantic authoring now surfaces public help and result affordances for common authoring flows, making it easier to discover valid constructors, required fields, readiness issues, and concrete next actions.
  • Datasource behavior now flows through shared engine profiles for DuckDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Trino, and ClickHouse, reducing duplicated backend logic and making engine-specific capabilities more explicit.
  • Analysis execution internals were split into dedicated bucketing, windowing, string-time, and metric-projection components.
  • Datasource metadata, runtime, and authoring code now use engine-profile values for SQL behavior, connection options, and backend-specific constraints.
  • The bundled marivo-analysis and marivo-semantic skills now describe the cumulative metric workflow and the updated public guidance surface.
  • Derived dimensions are preserved after metric-pruning steps.
  • DuckDB datasource connections now forward authored extra keyword arguments.
  • Semantic layer datasource resolution, readiness checks, time parsing, and catalog details were tightened across several edge cases.
  • Analysis help, observation planning, transform output, and timezone-aware execution paths received compatibility fixes.
  • Added design specs for cumulative metrics v2, engine profiles, public semantic authoring guidance, and the analysis agent surface.
  • Updated the latest English and Chinese site docs for installation, quick start, semantic-layer concepts, and analysis workflow concepts.
  • Added a new v0.3 versioned documentation snapshot.
